Power of a Woman
I want to start off by describing what a woman is. The essence of a woman is love. She nurtures, sacrifices, she gives even when she's not getting anything in return, and most of all she loves unconditionally. It's true that a woman is the ultimate multi-tasker. If she needs to she can talk on the phone, cook, and tend to her child all at the same time. Although, men are considered the strong ones and the protector and provider, a woman at her best can be all of that and more. We possess a different kind of strength. Women were built to be able to handle more than men in some ways. We can forgive over and over and fight through the pain men cause us and still try to show them that we are all they would ever need even when they take us for granted. I love being a woman, but sometimes it's hard because our nature is gentle and calm and so many things come at us that try to break that. The struggle that I see happening within women is trying to stay within our true nature after enduring so much pain. Sometimes after we get hurt time after time, we end up broken and have to put so many walls up in defense that we are no longer ourselves. There is nothing more powerful than a woman who is healed and whole. I say healed because sometimes the pain is essential for our growth and strength. The bad things that come against us should not get the best of us and if they knock us down we shouldn't stay down. We have the power to heal the universe. Because of our wit and charm we can lead a man without him even knowing we are doing it and still make him feel in control. We shouldn't give up our power by trying to be like a man, why do that? Why forfeit our power to try to get theirs? We both have our part in the world and we are both needed, but we have to be what we were made to be. We can use our love to give our men strength and push them to do what they thought they couldn't, we have that power. Our love can be so sweet that it will motivate our men to do the unthinkable. I don't want to tear that man down, I'd rather build him up with all I have to offer and a good man will recripocate. I hope with this piece to remind women of their true beauty and power that is within the fibers of their beings.
